They know already who they want to be, and what they want to do. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It hasn&#8217;t always been so easy for me.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I am a fast learner, because of that,  I tend to do reasonably well in many things, and since I like variety, change is always exciting to me.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Because of this, coming up with a list of things that I would like to do, hasn&#8217;t come that easy to me, but I learned a little trick that I have used over time. Here it is:</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I sit down and I start to write out the things that I definitely wouldn&#8217;t want to do. A &#8220;not to ever do&#8221; list. First in a generic fashion, then in more detail. Sort of in a tree structure. This helps bring clarity and focuses the mind. It also helps at a later time to justify when it is time to walk away from some opportunities. </p>
